The basic call station is used for voice announcements or playback of pre-recorded messages in any designated zones. The basic call station features a microphone on a flexible stand, a microphone on/off button, and a connector for headset connection. The LBB 4430/00 station can be expanded with 16 keypads (LBB 4432/00 or LBB 4434/00), each having eight programmable buttons. It is also possible to connect a digital keypad (PRS-CSNKP). The call station has a cardioid-controlled microphone on a gooseneck, ensuring good speech intelligibility. A limiter and speech filter enhance speech clarity and prevent audio signal clipping. The station includes a volume control for the monitoring loudspeaker and headset. When a tone signal or pre-recorded message is played back, the station's loudspeaker is activated. When a headset is connected, the station's loudspeaker and microphone are disabled. The call station has its own digital signal processing (DSP) processor and is capable of converting analog audio signals to digital and vice versa. Audio signal processing includes sensitivity adjustment, limiting, and parametric equalization. Up to 16 keypads can be connected to the station via a serial communication channel. The station provides power to the keypads. The station can be assigned up to 224 priorities. All settings are configured through the Praesideo network controller.
